My wife and I spent 6 days driving the roads of Yellowstone and saw 22 bears total with 4 or 5 of them being grizzlies. We hiked up Mt. Washburn and walked out to Cascade Lake. We saw otters at Trout Lake and Trumpeters at Red Rocks Lakes NWR west of West Yellowstone, a 25 mile drive on a fairly rough dirt road. Yellowstone is an incredible place and we met people from all over the world and show them wolves and grizzlies via our birding scope.
